From the “Sotto Castello” cru of Novello, this Barolo thrives in limestone soils with vines at 4,500/ha density. The 2016 harvest underwent extended maceration, malolactic fermentation in stainless steel, then matured for two years in oak barrels and bottled after another year. Deep ruby with orange hues, the nose reveals violet, vanilla, cinnamon, sweet tobacco and liquorice. On the palate: full, structured and softly dry with a long, spicy finish - built to age gracefully.
