Promised Cask was an idea borne out of the shared enjoyment of a Meursault—two people listening to the story shared by the winemaker about what’s in our glass, why it means so much to him, and the love that was put into every bottle.

We made a promise to start a project where we could facilitate these stories being told more often - and from people who perhaps have never had the chance.

Wine isn’t just about the grapes. It’s about the love, the time, the effort of the people who put that liquid in that bottle. They are the ones whose stories aren’t shared.
