This is Oliver’s top wine, made only when conditions permit. Despite the struggles in 2021 with the flood, his plot is high up on the slope and a sun trap allowing for perfectly ripe grapes in a slightly cooler vintage. Hand harvested and sorted before spending 18 months in 100% new French oak, after having to replace all of his barrels for the 2021 vintage. Still closed at present but with phenomenal herbs and spices from the new French oak, this will age gracefully. Powerful on the palate with an abundance of red and black fruits. Drink 2028+
