Made prior to the devastating floods of July 2021 this wine is a phoenix. Coming from the same einzellage (named exclusive plot) as the Blanc de Noir and luckily transferred to tank for bottling just before the flood which saw remaining barrels float away. This wine sees 50% new and 50% 2nd fill French oak with medium toast, from Seguin Moreau. 50% whole bunch. Exceptional purity of perfectly ripe fruit and integration of oak this has superb tannins and will continue to age magnificently. Drink 2024-2030+
