Deep ruby red with a light garnet rim, it opens with a complex nose of blackberry and natural tobacco notes - impressively characterful for a wine that never sees a barrel. On the palate it is medium-bodied, warm and soft, with good persistence. Effortlessly versatile, it pairs equally well with typical Tuscan charcuterie and snacks as it does with a quiet glass enjoyed on its own.
