Promised Cask – Competition Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is Promised Cask Ltd, 6 Maresfield Gardens, NW3 5SU, London, United Kingdom (“Promoter”).

2. Eligibility

  • This competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.

  • Proof of age and identity may be required.

  • Employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, or anyone professionally connected with the competition are not eligible to enter.

3. The Competition

  • This is a skill-based prize competition.

  • To enter, participants must correctly answer a skill-based question.

  • Only entries with a correct answer will be eligible for the draw.

4. How to Enter

  • Entrants must:

    1. Complete the entry form in full

    2. Confirm eligibility (including age requirement)

    3. Correctly answer the skill-based question

    4. Complete payment for selected entries

  • Entry is only valid once:

    • A correct answer has been submitted, and

    • Payment has been successfully received

5. Entry Pricing

  • Entries are £3.5 each.

  • The number of entries received corresponds to the number selected and paid for.

6. Free Entry Route

  • A free entry route is available.

  • To enter without payment, send a postcard with:

    • Full name

    • Email address

    • Phone number

    • Confirmation of age (18+)

    • Answer to the competition question

  • Only one free entry per person per competition.

  • Postal entries must be received before the closing date.

7. Prize

  • The prize is as described on the competition page, a 75cl bottle of Dom Perignon 2013.

  • The prize is:

    • Non-transferable

    • Non-exchangeable

    • No cash alternative

  • The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.

8. Winner Selection

  • A winner will be selected at random from all correct and eligible entries.

  • The draw will take place on the date stated on the competition page.

  • The process will be conducted fairly and may be recorded.

9. Winner Notification

  • The winner will be contacted via email and/or phone.

  • The winner must respond within 7 days.

  • If no response is received, the Promoter reserves the right to select a new winner.

10. Prize Delivery

  • The prize will be delivered to a UK address provided by the winner.

  • Age verification may be required upon delivery.

  • The Promoter is not responsible for delays or issues caused by delivery providers.

11. Disqualification

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:

  • Provides false or misleading information

  • Does not meet eligibility requirements

  • Attempts to manipulate or abuse the entry process

12. Payment & Refunds

  • All entry payments are final and non-refundable once submitted.

  • Entries that do not meet the requirements (e.g. incorrect answers) will not be entered into the draw.

13. Data Protection

  • Personal data will be used solely for the purposes of administering the competition.

  • Entrants who opt in to marketing communications may receive emails from Promised Cask.

  • Entrants can unsubscribe at any time.

  • Data will be handled in accordance with UK GDPR.

14. Liability

  • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for:

    • Technical failures

    • Lost or incomplete entries

    • Payment issues outside its control

  • Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

15. General

  • The Promoter reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition at any time where necessary.

  • The competition and these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

  • By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
